Carindale Writers'
Group Offers Support and Encouragement to Local Writers
The
Carindale Novel Writers’ Group was established in January,
2000 to assist novel writers in the area to achieve paid publication.
In 2001, realizing the community demand for a writers’ group
catering for more diverse writing genres, it became the Carindale
Writers’ Group.
At present, it is dedicated to providing support and encouragement
to writers of all genres, at all stages of writing development.
Although it does not offer a creative writing course, membership
is open to anyone with a love for the written word, and the desire
to write.
So far, the combined skills of the members have been showcased
in two anthologies, “Collections 2003” and “Leap
in Time” (2004), which are both published by WebWay. “Leap
in Time” is available as a three in one package of printed
book, and audio and visual E-book CD. This year, the members are
at the planning stage of writing to fill a publication niche in
the education sector.
If you would like more information about this vibrant and enthusiastic
writing group you can go their website: www.carindalewritersgroup.org
